Dilly started her career working for a Community Technical Aid Centre at Free Form Arts Trust in Hackney. Since then she has worked with many community groups when working for local authorities or private commissions from charitable trusts.

Developing an early interest in the science of climate change in the 1980’s, her design focus has been finding low impact sustainable solutions and creating wildlife habitats in rural and urban environments. This includes working on a number of flood defence schemes in and around Gloucester City.
